Contact our Admissions Department at (785) 232-8551 or Fax (785) 232-8556. One of our rehabilitation liaisons will respond to perform a pre-admission screening and coordinate transfer to our facility.

Free Screening
The hospital provides no-cost screenings for individuals who might benefit from rehabilitation. To facilitate a screening, the individual, a family member or a healthcare professional should call Admissions at (785) 232-8551. Screenings will be completed by a liaison and may be done in the patient's home, physician's office, or at Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital. Recommendations for the appropriate level of care are given to the patient and their family. There is no obligation.

Insurance
Rehabilitation is covered in full or in part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies as needed. Part of the screening process is to determine insurance coverage and explain any financial obligations the patient may have prior to their admission. Please provide copies of your insurance cards and a picture identification card (driver’s license) at the time of your screening.
