Mark LeNeave, FACHE
Chief Executive Officer
Mark has been the chief executive officer at Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital since November of 2008. He attained a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Murray State University in 1981 and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Saint Louis University in 1984. Mark is a fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives. Before joining Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital, Mark held CEO positions in acute care hospitals in Kansas, Tennessee and Georgia.

Dr. Joseph Sankoorikal
Medical Director

A graduate of the Medical College, University of Kerala, Trivandrum, Kerala, India, Dr. Sankoorikal completed his residency in geriatric medicine at the Oak Forest Hospital of Cook County and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital and Care Network in Illinois. He became a member of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 1990. Dr. Sankoorikal has been an active member at Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital since 2003 and has served as medical director since 2010. He has served on several local hospital committees, and his interests include the integration of the family in the rehab approach to the compromised patient to improve outcomes.


Lisa Rundell
Director Of Therapy Operations
Lisa began her career with Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital (KRH) as a pre-physical therapy student in 1998. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in pre-physical therapy from the University of Kansas, she worked as a nursing and therapy tech and was then accepted into the physical therapy program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Lisa returned to KRH in 2001 with her master’s in physical therapy where she worked as a physical therapist for eight years before being named the director of therapy operations in 2010.

Barbara L. Boos
DMO
Barbara joined Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital in March of 2010. She worked as an LPN for 23 years prior to obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Columbia Southern University. Barbara has a strong sales and marketing background with 14 years of marketing experience in the medical field. She leads a strong team of rehabilitation liaisons and hospital admissions staff and is currently working to obtain a master’s degree in business administration/health care administration.

Lori Finney
CFO
Lori is the chief financial officer at Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital and has more than 20 years of accounting and financial experience. Prior to joining HealthSouth, she served as president of communications at Westar Energy. Lori graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University. She recently completed her master’s degree in business administration from Washburn University.

Mindy J. Mitchell DBA, MN FACHE
Chief Nursing Officer
Mindy is the chief nursing officer at Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Avila University and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Kansas. Mindy has been a nurse for more than 30 years and has worked a variety of practice settings and nursing education. Her doctorate is in business administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. She is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Dina Cox
Director of Human Resources
Dina Cox, SPHR, has more than 25 years of human resources management experience in multiple organizations, including her own consulting firm, and taught HR management at the college level. Her current position of director of human resources at Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital requires her to coordinate and facilitate functions including recruiting, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee development, and diversity. Her article “At the Table: Transitioning to Strategic Business Partner” was published in WorldatWork's monthly publication WorkSpan in October 2003. Dina has been a trainer and speaker for the Kansas State SHRM conference, Kansas City chapter of International Society for Performance Improvement, Washburn University, American Payroll Association, and other regional associations. She received a master's degree in human resources management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
